Early Start Connections

Northcoast Children’s Services has opened a family resource center that offers resource and support services for families of children, ages 0-3, with special needs and those who are at risk for special needs including premature infants. The Early Start Connections family resource center is part of California’s Early Start Program for infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families. ESC provides parent-to-parent support, giving families a chance to talk to someone who "has been there"; access to national, state, and local agencies; advocacy, informing parents and thereby empowering their decision making abilities; library of books, videos, pamphlets and publications, to learn more about their child’s individual challenges, outreach, increasing public awareness, and welcome binders to eligible families.
