| LCCPC often gets confused with the Del Norte Child Care Council. The key difference is PLANNING. LCCPC is mandated by the state to address child care issues and be involved in planning child care for the County. If you go to a movie at the Crescent City Cinemas, look for our ad on quality child care, featuring a picture of a family child care and a center-based child care. You're invited to attend any of our meetings which are held once a month on Wednesdays at 3:30 pm: Sept. 17 (at Howonquet Head Start), Oct. 15, Nov. 12, Dec. 10 (at our regular meeting place, the Infant & Child Development Center on Small Ave.) Call 464-0709 for more information. |
