Food Program Grant Update
The DNCCC Food Program is one of 32 programs in the U.S. to receive a USDA Congressional Hunger Center grant for $1,000. Congressman Mike Thompson wrote a letter of recommendation that ranked #1 among the 84 letters received by the grant committee. Congressman Thompson visited on August 26th to present the award. The grant will help to provide incentives for providers and further the goals of the Best Practices Food Lady model.

NEW FOOD PROGRAM RULES
Be sure to read the inserts in your FP mailings regarding recent revisions to Food Program rules. There are new agreements to sign, enrollment forms to do annually and minor changes to the claims review process. Please return your new signed agreement and enrollment forms ASAP if you have not done so already. Thanks as always for your help and participation.
