Frosted Watermelon Fruit Slush

The instructions listed are for 8 preschool sized servings.
    Ingredients:
  • 2/3 lb. Banana
  • 1 Cup Watermelon cubed
  • 2 Cups Pineapple juice, unsweetened
  • 2 1/2 Cups Plain Low Fat Yogurt
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar
  • 6 Ice Cubes
Directions:
Chill 8 glasses in the freezer. Have children assist by setting table, cutting fruit with plastic knives, adding components to blender or food processor. Blend in 2 batches until smooth. Serve immediately in a frosted glass. For an extra treat top with a dollop of low fat whipped cream.

CACFP: Preschool 3/4 cup = 1/2 cup fruit/vegetable and 1/2 oz meat/meat alternate
School-age: 1 1/4 cups = 3/4 cup fruit vegetable and 1 oz meat/meat alternate
