| Recipe of the Month Frosted Watermelon Fruit Slush The instructions listed are for 8 preschool sized servings.
Chill 8 glasses in the freezer. Have children assist by setting table, cutting fruit with plastic knives, adding components to blender or food processor. Blend in 2 batches until smooth. Serve immediately in a frosted glass. For an extra treat top with a dollop of low fat whipped cream. CACFP: Preschool 3/4 cup = 1/2 cup fruit/vegetable and 1/2 oz meat/meat alternate Adapted from Children’s Choices |
