| Home paper shredders pose serious injury risk to toddlers, according to a recent investigation by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The agency found that half of injuries studied involved children under 3, and more than 70 percent involved children under 12. Four kids, ages 2-6, needed amputation after shredder mishaps.
