NEWSFLASH!!
Hi Everybody!
If you haven’t already heard there has been a couple of changes here at DNCCC for me and the Front Desk position.
Rosalie Leaberry left us at the end of June to pursue a career with the Harrington House! Lucky them. She will be a true asset for them but we sure miss her!
I have taken over Rosalie’s position as Community Educator and moved into her office so next time you come in, you’ll see a new face at the front desk.
Valerie Machado joined us in July and she is great! So, stop by and say hi!

Welcome Valerie
We are pleased to introduce you to the newest addition to our agency, Valerie Machado! Valerie is DNCCC’s new Administrative Assistant. She began in July and we are so pleased that she chose to join our team. Valerie has a lot to offer our agency besides her ready smile. Valerie has lots of computer experience and great customer service skills.
Valerie, her husband Maurice and the couple’s two young children ages 4 and 18 months have lived in Crescent City for 5 years. Valerie grew up in Humboldt county and still enjoys spending time with her large family. Valerie and her family enjoy their animals, the outdoors, camping, and dirt biking. When Valerie has a quiet moment she likes to cross stitch, crochet and knit. Please take the time to introduce yourself to Valerie.

Pine Grove Child Care Center
Pine Grove child care center is now accepting enrollment for the 2006-2007 school year. Monday thru Friday 12:00-6:00 pm. The Pine Grove Child Care Center serves children 4.9-12.5 years of age in a recreational setting. Center activities generate opportunities for children to interact socially, learning to balance respect and independence with friendship. For information and registration, call Kim Geib at 464-7412.

There are many ways people can choose to donate to the Del Norte Child Care Council. Contributions are tax deductible and gratefully accepted.

One of the newest ways to support the Council is to contribute to the Del Norte Child Care Fund that has been established in the Wild Rivers Community Foundation.
