What is the Centralized Eligibility List?

The Centralized Eligibility List (CEL) is a list of families in need of free or low cost child care in Del Norte County. Whether you are looking for center based child care, a family child care home, or your child care provider is a friend or relative, the CEL is your one stop to access all programs. All local child care and development programs in Del Norte County that receive funding from the California Department of Education will fill vacancies by pulling names from the CEL. By placing your family information on the CEL, you have the opportunity to access all publicly funded programs for which you qualify

Snack $0.61 $0.17

Lunch/Dinner $2.06 $1.24

Meal Spacing
Breakfast – Before 9:00am
Lunch – Between 11:00am & 1:30pm
Dinner – Between 4:00pm & 7:00pm
Snacks – 2 hours spacing between a snack and a meal.

(Example: breakfast at 8:45am, morning snack at 10:45am, lunch at 12:45pm) Infants may be fed according to their own schedule. If no snacks are served, three hours must elapse between meals.

You can apply on-line for help paying for childcare. Go to www.dnccc.com and click "Childcare". Want to apply in person? Come down to our office at 212 K Street and see Valerie.

The Incredible Years
Parents, Teachers and Children Training Series
The Incredible Years Parent Education series is a comprehensive course divided into 4 parts: Play, Praise and Reward, Effective Limit Setting, and Handling Misbehavior. It is a 12 week course designed to strengthen parenting skills, prevent and treat behavior problems in children age 2-10.

Classes are held at the Family Resource Center located at 207 Price Mall, Crescent City
Monday Mornings ~ 9:30-11:30 am
Thursday Evenings ~ 5:30-8:30 pm
Classes are FREE!
Food & Childcare Provided

Principle contributions will generate interest to support the activities and services to children in the Wild Rivers Ccommunity.
