CDN Meetings
CDN meetings are a time of discussion between Family Based Providers, Child Care Centers, and Preschool Educators in a relaxed atmosphere to better serve the children we care for. All meetings are located at the Family Resource Center 207 Price Mall, from 7-8 pm. Two CDN meetings are required for C.A.R.E.S. stipend.

Local Child Care Planning Council ~LCCPC~
The Del Norte Local Child Care Planning Council has 10 members. There are 2 members in each of five categories: child care consumers, child care providers, community representatives, public agency representatives and discretionary members. We have representation from Northcoast Children's Services, Del Norte Child Care Council, College of the Redwoods, Elk Valley and Howonquet Head Starts, Dept. of Social Services and Del Norte Unified School District. The public is invited to attend meetings which are held at the Infant & Child Development Center on 860 Small Ave. at 3:30 pm on Thursdays: March 20, April 10 and May 15.
