Lisa is the owner and director of The Learning Through Adventure Company, a Carlsbad, California, based educational consulting firm that she created in 1997 in order to bring informative, high-energy workshops and trainings to the early childhood educational community. Since that time Lisa has presented keynotes, workshops and seminars to over 20,000 parents, providers, preschool teachers, elementary educators, principals, directors and administrators across the country on various topics relating to child development and early childhood education.

In addition to being a dynamic and passionate speaker, Lisa has the ability to refuel parents and teachers with the energy they need to return to their homes and classrooms and do what is right for the children. In a brief five-year period, Lisa's standing room only seminars have become nationally known for their information, humor, inspiration and energetic delivery style. Her dedication to children is clearly evident as she addresses her audience.
