| Del Norte Provider Association started an organization in February 2007. Our meetings are held currently at DNCCC on the 1st Thursday of every month at 6:30 and they usually end at 8:30. Our purpose is to be a helpful source to childcare providers in our community so we can serve the children of Del Norte county with the best childcare possible. We take pride in our non-profit organization and hope that we continue to see new faces. It is a time where providers can have important information to improve their business and care. Each meeting you can always expect something new. Next month we will going over providers contracts to help ensure that all legalities are covered for providers protection. We are planning a lot of social events including Relay for life, a huge yard sale and a clothes drive for children and a food drive...etc. We want to become established with the community and make a difference. We want to encourage both English and Hispanic providers to attend because we do have a Hispanic leader and all of our minutes are translated English to Spanish. We are a team! We would really love to have you join. Every month we have a potluck so bring an empty belly. If you are interested contact Cherece at 465-1871 or Vonda Fry at 464-9103 so we can cover all basis. |
