We are excited to announce a date for our upcoming Annual Child Care Provider Conference. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mary Peacock School.

Our keynote speaker, Cindi Kaup, of the California Preschool Instructional Network, will present a piece on discipline. She will also present a breakout session titled, "Approaching parents when you have a concern".

Other workshops offered, Melodee Waggener, Parent Education Program for the Del Norte Child Care Council, "An Overview of the Incredible Years Parenting Classes". Deborah Kravitz, Project Coordinator, Nutrition Program, Del Norte Unified School District, will be discussing physical activity and healthy snacks, and a scrap booking class offered by Carol J. Leuthold, DNCCC Board member. This will be a fun filled class where participants can bring their own photos and create a scrapbook page to take home.

Lunch will be catered by "Fabulous Food by Julie Violante". The cost of lunch is $12 per person.
